Sr. Power BI Developer

Summary:
We are seeking a Power BI Developer with a strong focus on Power BI and Power Platform to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, designing, implementing, and mapping Power BI and Power Platform programs. You will play a key part in migrating from legacy manual reports to automated, efficient solutions within Power BI and Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business intelligence tools and be able to collaborate with both business and technical teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Build and deliver reports and data solutions that meet business needs.
Translate high-level business requirements into actionable design specifications for report development.
Design and develop automated reports and dashboards, migrating from legacy manual processes to Power BI and Power Platform.
Identify and implement appropriate solutions for reporting based on tool availability and data access.
Utilize SAS for general reporting, and work with tools such as SQL and Azure Synapse for effective data management.
Collaborate with both business and technical teams to ensure alignment of solutions with organizational needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and internal teams to facilitate communication and understanding of requirements.

Qualifications: Proficiency in Power BI is required; experience with other BI tools (Cognos, Tableau) is a plus.
Strong knowledge and experience with SQL and data management.
Experience with Azure Synapse is highly desired.
Excellent ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proven ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into business terms.
Ability to think beyond visual reports and understand the fundamentals of data solutions.
