Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Medical Biller.
Key Responsibilities
Perform direct contact with payers and patients to resolve billing
issues, appeals, and refund requests
Review payer contracts and research insurance benefits for accurate
rate calculations
Analyze medical records to verify documentation supports diagnoses
and update patient files accordingly
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare reimbursement or medical
insurance billing
Minimum 1 year of experience with healthcare reimbursement
systems
Strong knowledge of medical terminology
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification preferred
Verifiable High School diploma or GED required
