Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sr Director, Head of Global
Trade.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement a comprehensive global trade compliance
strategy
Provide strategic business insights on trade-related developments
to leadership
Oversee the development of trade-related policies, processes, and
training initiatives
Required Qualifications
Degree in Law (JD/LLB) from an accredited law school; member in
good standing of a state bar association
9+ years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm,
preferably in global technology or telecom
Deep understanding of trade compliance frameworks such as EAR,
ITAR, and OFAC
Experience developing organizational structures and influencing
within matrixed environments
U.S. or Canadian citizenship preferred due to regulatory
requirements
