Job Description:
A company is looking for a Contract Copy Editor and
Fact-Checker.
Key Responsibilities
Thoroughly fact-check and copyedit print stories
Leverage backup material from writers and conduct independent
research to confirm facts
Communicate with editors, writers, and sources as needed to resolve
queries
Required Qualifications
2 to 3 years of copy editing and fact-checking experience
Proficiency in AP Style and experience applying a house style
guide
Knowledge of Google Workspace
A keen eye for detail and a relentless drive for accuracy
A collaborative, creative work style
